Halo the Human – “Gettin Paid”


A while back olwhatshername had told me to check this Halo The Human guy out. And now here he is sending me his music. Coincidence? I think not. (LET ME FIND OUT Y’ALL IN EACH OTHERS DM’s THO!!!). Happenstance or not, this what I got. Beat is nice. Flow aint terrible but he sound like one them miserable rappity rapperers. This is judgement based on this singular joint. I haven’t checked his project yet which you can get HERE.

RIP Capital STEEZ. a king among men


Read this piece on The Fader bout STEEZ. It’s incredible. Eye opening. We’ll never have the answers we want but it certainly provides more closure to some and answers a few questions. RIP STEEZ

now were a month short from the one year anniversary of his passing but this is still important.

Now I dug STEEZ verses on Joey shit. But I just left it at that. Until SHE told me to check his tape. AmeriKKKan Korruption. And WOW. after that Joey didn’t even exist to me anymore. Cuz in Pro Era I knew STEEZ was THAT dude. I was disappointed when I got Reloaded cuz I had thought it was ALL new songs. But at least we got 7. And when the group tape dropped his verse on Like Water was magical. I IMMEDIATELY cut STEEZ verse into a ringtone (one I still have). Then a couple days later on I’m graveyard and I see the tweets. “The End” then I see Joey’s tweeters. And that’s it. No REAL answers about anything until that article. STEEZ, you are missed.

Around this time of year, many people start thinking of their New Year’s resolutions and “Speed of Light” is more of a new day’s resolution, so to speak. It’s a reflection of all the different goals we set for ourselves and having the courage to build towards them and take action while we can, because the opportunity can very well be gone in a flash. A bunch of amazing songs came on back to back to back to back yesterday while I was driving and SHE seemed to be all for em. Which was fucking awesome. This was one and she REALLY dug it. Which made me boner status. I believe it was the OG remix but of course I prefer the Jeremih version. Anywho someone find me a C&S version of this shit. I’ll be forever in your debt while I get the happy smash times to this shit.
