Lunch

Had lunch wit my cousin Taylor. My auntie (his mother) passed away 4 yrs ago today. I had not remembered the day at all. Not till we were eating. We lived together before. And at a point i referred to her as mom. Then, I text HER, and SHE said something that almost squeezed a tear out. My cousin and I didn’t speak on it at all. It was great to see him though.

Attended the first of her 3 day hold on the El Rey Theatre. Had the most beautiful date.

The opener was weak. EXCEPT for his partner. She was playing the violin and did b/g vocals. But when she got her verse in?! Her voice?! She’s clearly the more talented one. I need her fucking name!
Lana?! Her live renditions SHIT all over the album versions. So fucking good. It’s safe to say the SNL debacle is FAR behind her at this point. She was lovely and amazing.
Amazing night. Sharing it with my Bestía? Made it all the more special. The love….

Me: that’s all I want
C: ok then. That’s why.
Me: ok *C’s friend no longer exists to me*

Remember that conversation? Not THAT ONE ^^^^ but the one WE had? Well, I think I’m fully embracing who I am now. For better or worse. Here I am.

My 25th anniversary. And my favorite ever.
I was shown mad LOVE. Mad folk hit me and several people were trying to do stuff for me.
The first gift I received in YEARS! Thanks jewels.
Lauren took me to a DOPE bar in Hollywood to watch the game(s). Her people’s showed me love too. Delicious ass foods. Dranks!!! And randomly jermaine dupri and angela simmons were sitting next to us lol.
But really Beast set it off. ALL DAY. From the moment she rose till I died. She made me feel the LOVE. Even into the coming days! She’s a special one. Made me feel amazing. And she fucking surprised me with a red velvet cake from my(our) bakery! SURPRISE. even if nothing else happened she made my day special.
