Don’t Save The World soon…
YM8600 – Robert Earl Davis Jr.
“How I loved you, how I cried…”
Some facts:
-Sheek sampled this for a song on his debut solo album Walk Wit Me from 03
-Queen is fuckin awesome
-Freddy Mercury is a god
This song has a lot of sentimental value to it (don’t they all?). My fav part is how he sings “how I loved you, how I cried”. I tend to like random parts of songs. Those little moments often stick to me. I’ll post on these little moments more often for you folk. But enjoy this ish.

“as I was thinking of you . . .”
let’s add today’s yoga instructor to the list of jerks that force me to have thoughts about you. . .
this was the first song that played today in yoga class. I was genuinely excited. then came the thoughts of her. they were pleasant.
F.olk – Everything EP

In 2011 this guy dropped like the best beat tape/EP in ever (besides what TerrEnce dropped). Now he has THIS!

Nothing Can Change This Love
It’s a Sam Cooke kind of morning… All sorts of thoughts and feels
Make me weep
And you can make me cry
See me coming
And you can pass me by
But honey, nothing, nothing can ever change this love I have for you

The embed is giving me trouble so you’ll just have to click the link for now
With the recent 10-year anniversary of his classic debut ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin'” and the 8-year mark of it’s follow-up, The Source linked up with DJ Spintelect to provide a mix of the Queens MC’s best tracks of all time. Spin hooked it up with another dope mix, as usual, full of everyone’s favorite 50 verses. Consider it a gift from us to you! Artwork by Keese Good Of LADT.
