Make it better

I wish I didn’t love you. I’d feel no pain.
Then again, I wouldn’t light up when we’re face to face.
Your presence is a present. For I get to be happy.
Till you disappear again and I forget to be happy.
I don’t mean to do it. You know be all sappy.
But while I’ve pieced myself back together. I find a major piece is still missing.
I’ve yet to find a supplement. I don’t know that it can be replaced.
So if you ever have it in you, please, come back and fix it.
