Attended the first of her 3 day hold on the El Rey Theatre. Had the most beautiful date.

The opener was weak. EXCEPT for his partner. She was playing the violin and did b/g vocals. But when she got her verse in?! Her voice?! She’s clearly the more talented one. I need her fucking name!
Lana?! Her live renditions SHIT all over the album versions. So fucking good. It’s safe to say the SNL debacle is FAR behind her at this point. She was lovely and amazing.
Amazing night. Sharing it with my Bestía? Made it all the more special. The love….

SXSW day 4. Final day

Met: Talib. Young Guru. Elliot Wilson. Taz Arnold. DJ Drama. Freddie Gibbs (who I smoked with). Joe Chicago. Kendrick Lamar saluted me. Meka is now a KILLLER DJ. and that’s all I remember def forgetting a person or 3.

Saw perform: BJ the Chicago Kid. Coolroy. Gangsta Boo (LOL). Stalley. Meek Mill. Rick Ross. Thurz. Pac Div. SAS. Terrace Martin. Black Hippy. And others I’ve surely forgotten.

Ended the night at respect the west where I saw ALL my ppls. Skeme. Eazee. Dae One. El Prez. C-Plus. Picaso & Raven. Josh4Q. Thurz. Like from PacDiv. Sean Falyon (even though he ain’t an LAer). And again, others I don’t remember right now.
Shouts to Peas and Safia. And to Spintelect!! He got me into fader. It was good seeing my dude. Now he’s off to London to finish kweli’s tour.

Kenna was cool as fuck. He was messing with me at first. Troy Ave showed me MAD LOVE. When he got off staged he looked for me to say what’s up and give me a mixtape. When PacDiv took the stage Like saw me upfront and gave a headnod. LOVE! Everyone been showin me love. Even Thurz shouted me out on stage. Just because. Everyone else was mad friendly.
