Back again for their annual Valentine’s Day mix is SPINTELECT and Ashley Outrageous with The Kissing Game Vol. 3! Switching things up a bit this year, the mix includes some reworks of classic RnB jams as well as some newer releases. Trust us once again when we say this is the perfect backdrop for this day of love or even the days to follow. Oh, and this just might be our favorite installment of the series so far….

Thurz – “Punky Brewster” [video]
For my official video to “Punky Brewster”, produced by Christian.Rich, I had to jump in some fresh painting attire provided by Asphalt clothing and the legend Stevie Williams (pro skater, owner of Asphalt clothing). I am honored that they reached out to me to sport their gear in the video as I painted on a beautiful canvas, a naked woman. My good friends over at “Wingtip Media,” director Zack Warren, and producer Chito Tafy, designed a visually stimulating video that showcases art along with the premiere of the artwork for my album “Blood on a Canvas,” in short pieces throughout the video. Album Artwork is provided by Mister Soul. See if you could piece it together. Enjoy.

Sam vs Otis
Me and Devs rehashed a conversation that we tabled a few months ago. Sam Cooke VS Otis Redding. She prefer the Big O. While I naturally prefer the SoulGawd Sam Cooke. While I agree that Otis makes you FEEL his words. I mean happy sad Love etc. You FEEL what Otis is feelin when he sangs. BUT He did what he did because of Sam. Covered joints Sam did. Sam is arguably the creator of Soul music. The OG of the Soul game. There’s this indescribable quality of his music. This FEELING. That’s the best as I can describe it (word to Isaiah Rashad, we had a convo about “the feeling” in music last year). So thus begins Sam vs Otis. BC vs Devs. Teacher vs Student.
Bring it on home to me
If you ever change your mind
About leaving, leaving me behind
Bay-beh, bring it to me
Bring your sweet lovin
Bring it on home to me, yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah)
I know I laughed when you left
But now I know, I only hurt myself
Bay-beh, bring it to me
Bring your sweet lovin
Bring it on home to me, yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah)
I’ll give you jewelry and money, too
That ain’t all, that ain’t all I’ll do for you
Bay-beh, if you bring it to me
Bring your sweet lovin
Bring it on home to me, yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah)
You know I’ll always be your slave
Till I’m buried, buried in my grave
Oh honey, bring it to me
Bring your sweet lovin
Bring it on home to me, yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah)
(One more thing)
I tried to treat you right
But you stayed out, stayed out at night
But I forgive you, bring it to me
Bring your sweet lovin
Bring it on home to me, yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah)
Yeah (yeah) yeah (yeah)…

Elcee – HELP [video]
I really enjoyed this joint.
“HELP” is dedicated to using a tool to help you through struggles. Asking for help has always been labelled as a sign of weakness, but the only thing that kept people weak was not asking for help when they couldn’t help themselves. Having an opportunity to experience a struggle can sometimes better you, when understanding how to grow out of it. Elcee feels that one of the biggest things he learned from going through the struggle, was how to ask for help.
