Cudi’s album has been enjoyable to me almost as much as the DOOM album from earlier this year. While I don’t consider Kid Cudi to be a lyricist on par with DOOM I do think Cudi knows how to make music that you can feel outside of the normal boundaries of rap. Is Kid Cudi Hip-Hop? Hell yes. Cudi’s music exists so that future artists don’t have to copy the themes or styles of performers that may not suit them. Cudi is making his own lane. That is Hip-Hop. – Dallas

so around that point was when we decided to lay this down in song. aeon had sent like 9000 beats that i (happily!) sat through looking for not the best beat, but the perfect track that fit with the rest of the album and at the same time filled a void/mood that the album needed but didnt have yet. a lot of people listen for the “hot beat” when picking tracks but its not about that. this track was so sad sounding and kind of eerie. at first i was thinking maybe a follow up to “she moved outta cincy” but somewhere along the line it took a turn and became what it is today. if we’re lucky aeon will be on the next tanya morgan album too…i know he has a few songs on our SOLO ALBUMS COMING IN 2010 *plugplugplug*

So this is what E-Dub has been doin. I dig it. Being that I’m a huge skating and BMX fan.
If you’ve noticed What Eye Thought over the past few months, I have been showing a lot of shine to the Action sports realm, especially with Skateboarding and BMX. I have a deep love for BMX being a rider myself, so It is with great pleasure that I present the 1st ever EBA BMX Squad. I met Ryan Boccardi a few weeks ago and was just blown away by his passion and knowledge for the sport. He then introduced my to Robbie Faussett, who is just a natural on a bike and this weekend I met 3 other riders that all had professional aspirations and the hunger to make them happen.
