dedicated to my auntie

I’m gonna return to regular posting until friday. E-Dubb, the dopeboyz, the whole FCC got you covered. Instead a story of my auntie since this is the first holiday without her( god rest her soul):

So I lived with her from 11-12yrs old. she tried to make life for me easy. In the car her and my cousins listened to country music, kiis fm, and kroq (she from texas and lived in the OC). I listened to hiphop. So she would play power 106 once in a while. One day me and her were riding to somewhere and Ruff Ryders Anthem came on. She began go hard on the hook “Stop, drop, shut em down open up shop oh, no thats how ruff ryders roll”. I was shocked and she laughed and was like “What? i can’t like or know this too.” RIP

Please do me a favor and don’t spread unfinished demo songs. Judging by our free internet releases, we are clearly cool with sharing music but when you post something that’s not finished and people check it out, that could be their first time hearing Wale and that’s not giving a new artist a fair shot. We have worked so hard to only put out the highest quality material and when someone goes and leaks a demo song passing it off as a finished product or official, it can be very harmful. So please, if you see something out there that’s not on here, don’t spread it and let me know about it (yes, I know, very unrealistic). Thanks. – Via Elitaste
